3-day Woodturning Intensive

Three-day group woodturning class. The cost is $700 per person. This is the signature service of The Boys and Burls Club and will cater to a variety of experience levels. The project-based and hands-on class will be focused on turning bowls from locally harvested greenwood. We will explore techniques like preparing, shaping, gouging, sharpening, hollowing, and finishing. Projects might include bowls, platters, lidded boxes, hollow forms, spindles, and symmetrical sculpture. The 1:3 teacher, student ratio is ideal for customized and individual instruction. The brand-new facilities provide the finest quality tools and equipment in a convenient and downtown location. Select dates, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, lunch included
